Accelerated B.A. + M.P.A.
The College of Charleston offers an accelerated program for students to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Arts Management and a Master of Public Administration within five years. The combined degree is designed to integrate the study of contemporary methods of arts management within the arts with subjects intersecting with skills essential for careers in the public sector.
The Accelerated Program will allow students to study contemporary methods of arts management within the arts that intersect with skills essential for careers in the public sector. Students may apply for and earn the ARCM certificate outside of the accelerated program.
Admittance into the program allows undergraduates in arts management to take 12 graduate credit hours in place of undergraduate hours. Six PUBA core courses would be taken during the student’s fifth year. An additional elective course would be needed to achieve the required 36 credit hours.
